Job Summary: The National Account Executive (NAE) is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key national accounts, driving sales growth, and achieving strategic goals within assigned accounts. The NAE will develop and implement sales strategies, negotiate contracts, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest level of service and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: 1. Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned national accounts. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Ensure clients are satisfied with products and services. Consistently communicate line management with account updates. 2. Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets by working with line management. Identify opportunities to grow business within existing accounts. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. 3. Negotiation and Contracts: Lead contract negotiations and renewals to secure mutually beneficial terms. Ensure contractual agreements are communicated internally and address any issues that arise. 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., line management, marketing, CFS, SBS Team) to meet client needs. Coordinate with manufacturing partners to promptly address customer supply chain and other issues. 5. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and report weekly. Prepare regular reports on account status, sales activities, and market conditions. Provide forecasts and updates to senior management. 6. Customer Support: Address customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively. Provide training and support to customers in all facets of the business. 7. Event Participation: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences. Network with potential clients and industry professionals. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field but not required. Proven track record of success in sales and account management, preferably in a national or key account role. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze sales metrics and develop effective strategies. Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools. Willingness to travel (70% of the time) to meet with clients and attend events. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the building products industry. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and other industry-related software. Skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of customer orientation and business acumen. Work Environment: Remote office-based with frequent travel to client locations.
