Reporting to the Co-President Academics, and working closely with multiple programs and campus locations, the Director, Accreditation and Program Development is responsible for the coordination of superior accreditation outcomes for American Career College as an institution as well as all academic programs, along with ensuring compliance with state academic requirements.
Responsibilities include the interpretation of institutional and programmatic accreditation as well as state-specific academic requirements. Will guide the College in developing, evaluating and revising academic policy, program and operational processes that are compliant with accreditation standards and state regulations as they apply to the College and academic programs. Develops effective relationships with accreditors and, as required, state regulators, as well as provides accurate and timely strategic and tactical counsel to administration. Ensures ongoing positive relationships between American Career College, accreditors and the states. Maintains a schedule of accreditation visits and submissions, trains and provides management tools to academic program leaders, and provides management reporting on assigned functions. Oversees and develops project plans for new programs and new campuses. Leads and oversees the academic team to ensure successful program, launches. Oversees all catalogues, academic handbook and manuals for updates and compliance.
