The Department of Chemistry at Boston University invites applications from outstanding candidates for the position of Lecturer of Organic Chemistry starting July 1, 2024. This position requires a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, with a preference for candidates who have substantial experience in teaching organic chemistry. This position is expected to lead the laboratory component of a two-semester Organic Chemistry course, and responsibilities may also include support for a one-semester advanced organic chemistry course and/or support for lecture and discussion sections. Lecturers also provide Department and/or University service such as undergraduate advising and committee work.
