American Computer Services Inc. is hiring Automated Regression Testers to join a dedicated test automation team. The ideal candidate has extensive Automated Testing experience and proven hands-on experience with the TOSCA platform.

You must live in or relocate to Des Moines, Iowa area (Day 1) and follow a hybrid on-site/off-site model.

To be successful, you will:

• Transform business test cases into automated test coverage.
• Develop repeatable, fully automated tests using the Tricentis TOSCA tool that will operate without manual intervention.
• Provide creative solutions to challenges encountered in developing repeatable automation.
• Rapidly update tests based on changes in the application.
• Contribute to the build-out of lights-out automation.
• Create test coverage using risk-based testing techniques.

Your Goals will encompass:

• Reduce turn-around time.
• Increase test coverage.
• Reduce the number of test cases and turn-around time for full-suite execution.
• Provide the Business and UAT Team with access to high-level/detailed information on test coverage.
• Reduce the time required to maintain test scripts to support changes in the AUTs (Applications Under Test).
• Increase testing validations, including a comprehensive validation of NOAs (Notice of Action).

Experience you will need:

• Proven ability to develop automated test cases using TOSCA.
• Proven ability to transform business test cases into automated test coverage.
• Proven ability to develop creative solutions to challenges, creating a repeatable automated test suite.
• Proven ability to create SQL queries to use for database validation.
• Proven ability to effectively use third-party tools and system utilities.
• Thorough knowledge of automated functional regression testing, data-driven test development techniques, object recognition, test validation, and lights-out unattended automation.
• Knowledge of Dev/Ops concepts and continuous testing.
• Expertise in deploying risk-based testing techniques.
• Thorough development/execution of API test cases.

Education:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a computer-related program.
