We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to work in the NYC Metro area (Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Bronx). In this role, you will be providing monthly service to our customer's elevators ensuring that the equipment is functioning properly. You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctioning systems, repairing or replace defecting parts. QualificationsSuccessful candidates will possess 4 years of experience as a Route Mechanic with the ability to read wiring diagrams/blueprints, technical manuals and/or related technical documents, experience adjusting, testing and repairing hydraulic and traction elevators and providing preventative maintenance of equipment while following established safety, maintenance and/or testing procedures with the ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical malfunctions. You must have a valid driver's license. OSHA , NYS and NYC Elevator Mechanic License required and/or CET is strongly preferred. AEG is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
