Established in 1993, American Endowment Foundation (AEF) is one of the nation’s largest independent donor-advised fund (DAF) sponsors. AEF is a mission-motivated organization focused on expanding philanthropy led by a people-driven culture that results in a best-in-class client experience. 

AEF partners with firms and financial advisors in an unbiased manner to expand philanthropic giving through donor-advised funds. At AEF, you can think of a donor-advised fund as a charitable account. We collaborate with financial advisors and their donors to establish and administer AEF donor-advised fund accounts with the goal of increasing the amount granted to our donors’ causes and charities.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Associate II, Grant Administration certifies that all grants from the assigned donor group are sent to qualified charities as recommended and that the process is timely and accurate. In addition, this position ensures that the grant recommendation accurately reflects the donor’s request, and the request is processed in a timely manner. The Associate II, Grant Administration is responsible for the activities of AEF, both before and after the granting process, and serves as the primary contact with the donor through the grants process.

Qualifications

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor’s degree or three years’ relevant work experience in accounts payable, payroll or general accounting experience preferred.
2. High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
3. Proficient in organizing information and attention to detail
4. Excellent written and verbal skills
5. Team oriented
6. Service focused
