Job Description: Copywriter

We are looking for a talented & experienced Copywriter to support our Creative Director and Art Director with all our copywriting needs. Your main duties will be to write copy across various clients, industries, and marketing channels. You will be at the center of driving creative excellence for the emerging brands we service.

This role is full-time at our NYC offices

Responsibilities

• Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice
• Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
• Collaborate with designers, SEO strategists, Lifecycle Marketing Managers, Paid Media strategists, and other professionals on large (and small-scale) marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns, landing pages, website copy, social media copy, paid search copy, video scripts, blogs, etc.)
• Edit and proofread copy as needed
• Apply SEO principles to maximize copy

Requirements

• 3-4 years of proven experience as a copywriter or related role (portfolio needed)
• Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
• Must be detail-oriented and have excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Experience with SEO writing and editing
• Strong research skills
• Must be able to combine creative writing and critical thinking
• Collaborative spirit
• Experience in crafting brand voice, tone, and style guides to ensure consistent language across multiple touchpoints
• Must be able to work under pressure of tight deadlines and changing priorities
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• BSc/BA in Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field

Salary: $70-$85k, depending on experience
