The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The U.S. Consumer Marketing team (USCM) is part of the US Consumer Services Group and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering world class marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged card members across the customer lifecycle. 

The US Customer Loyalty team, within U.S. Consumer Marketing, strives to deliver marketing on behalf of the enterprise that makes American Express essential to our Card Members, responsible for deepening Card Member loyalty along the lifecycle through the delivery of compelling messages at the right time to drive clear engagement outcomes.

The Analyst will join the Targeted Offers and Recognition marketing team to support Spend & Earn Loyalty marketing, focused on deepening Card Member engagement and driving incremental spend and increased share of wallet. This person will be responsible for deploying and advancing the marketing strategy for Fingerprint, a cutting edge Earn personalization engine, which leverages hyper-personalized offers and targeted marketing to encourage Card Members to enroll and redeem offers. This person will help strategize, optimize, innovate and execute key marketing efforts across digital channels including email and online account.

The role requires a customer-centric marketer who is motivated by working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, delivering measurable results, and collaborating with partners across the Blue Box. This is an opportunity to join an impactful, energetic team and drive significant results.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on Fingerprint Strategy, inspiring Card Members to enroll/redeem with personalized spend/get offers and drive incremental spend and increased share of wallet.
  • Lead end to end execution of Fingerprint offers with a clear focus on delivering customer value and partner outcomes through increased cross-channel marketing, improved targeting and segmentation and optimized marketing creative.
  • Partner with the marketing campaign and operations team to ensure flawless execution of Membership Rewards, Cash Back and Cobrand loyalty programs across digital channels.
  • Lead marketing performance management, including ownership of Fingerprint scorecard, forecasting, analysis of campaign results, identification of key insights that will inform marketing strategies and budget optimization.
  • Design and implement testing curriculum to enable testing for innovative and personalized marketing creative.
  • Support the Marketing Manager in the design and execution of new campaigns.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across US Customer Marketing Team and across the enterprise, such as Decision Science, Product, Execution, Investment Services and Co-Brand.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about marketing and creating excellent customer experiences.
  • Excellent project management skills, including marketing process governance, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively.  
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify relevant insights and form recommendations to action the insights.
  • Proactive self-starter and fast learner with the ability to take initiative, adapt well to change, and problem-solve independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, across both verbal and written formats.
  • Proven partnerships skills, with the ability to work across different functions, with colleagues of varying band levels and manage multiple agencies.
  • Proven ability to design and implement A/B tests for emails and online account channels.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • 2 years of digital marketing experience. Experience with Amex marketing execution processes is a plus.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
