As a Engineer in Cloud Platform Ops, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our public cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, automate operations, and drive continuous improvement in our cloud environments.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Platform Reliability and Scalability:**

Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable Private & Public cloud infrastructure solutions.

Perform proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning to optimize platform reliability.

**Incident Management and Resolution:**

Lead incident response efforts for critical incidents, ensuring timely resolution and thorough root cause analysis (RCA).

Develop and refine incident management processes to minimize downtime and impact on services.

**Automation and Tooling:**

Drive automation initiatives for deployment, monitoring, and orchestration using infrastructure as code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.

Develop and maintain tools for configuration management, deployment, and automated testing.

**Performance Optimization:**

Identify and address performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies in collaboration with development and operations teams.

Implement proactive measures to enhance platform performance and resource utilization.

**Security and Compliance:**

Ensure public cloud environments adhere to security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).

Implement and monitor security controls, perform regular audits, and participate in security incident response.

**Collaboration and Leadership:**

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and infrastructure teams.

Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

**Qualifications:**

**Education:** Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

**Experience:**

Minimum of 4 years in cloud platform engineering or operations, with a focus on multi-cloud environments.

Proven track record in managing and optimizing containerized platforms on Openshift, AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.

**Skills:**

Deep understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices.

Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).

Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in complex distributed systems.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Advanced certifications in Google Cloud.

* Experience with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).

* Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

**Qualifications**

Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually bonus benefits
