Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer with expertise in Java, AI/ML and Big data/RDBMS/NoSQL to join their team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge scalable intelligent solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy highly scalable and fault-tolerant services, applications and models that drive innovation and enhance efficiency in the customer servicing space. Most importantly, you are a problem solver who is open to learning.

What you will do

• Provide thought leadership, engineering expertise and direction to the engineering teams; be versatile and be able to collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams and cross functional technology groups to drive continuous delivery.
• Develop and implement AI/ML Applications using Java and Python and leading industry tools and frameworks.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in AI/ML, Java, and Python development.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design and optimize AI/ML solutions.
• Conduct research and stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies.
• Analyze datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can be leveraged for AI model development.
• Optimize and fine-tune AI models to improve performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Good knowledge and hands on experience in RDBMS and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra.
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate AI models into existing servicing applications and ensure scalability and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Plan, scope, size, architect, design, prototype and engineer Genesys framework components.
• Implement and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, solution and keep up with evolving technologies as a leading member of the team.

What you require for the role

• Degree in Computer Science with 8 years in experience.
• Experience in designing & developing API, services, ETL applications, Micro services-based architecture using frameworks like Spring Boot or Vertx.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Proficient in Programming Languages: Java, Vertx & Reactive framework and Python and others.
• Proficient in writing clean and efficient code to implement machine learning algorithms.
• Deep understanding of various machine learning algorithms such as regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning.
• Familiarity with popular ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Big Data Platform Proficiency: Skilled in working with Big Data platforms and Big Data lakes.
• Expertise in RESTful APIs: Understanding of RESTful principles and experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs for microservices communication.
• Cloud Knowledge: Proficient in cloud computing technologies.
• Banking Data Knowledge: Familiarity with banking data structures and requirements.
• Architecture design and modeling: should possess strong skills in designing and modeling complex systems and architectures.
• Ability to create scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions that meet business requirements.
• Docker and Kubernetes Proficiency: Proficient with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated with industry trends.
• Leadership and communication: lead teams and collaborate with stakeholders, so strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
