TEKsystems is partnering with a Fortune 20 company to deliver a training program specifically tailored to their Sr. Site Reliability Engineer needs throughout the organization. The 9 week training program will be 100% remote, but then you will be asked to be located/living near Phoenix, AZ during the contract and once converted full time at the client.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Computer Science Degree, MIS, IT Concentration, Engineering are highly preferred. ?

Resources will also be screened and identified for those who have the aptitude and desire to work as a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer.?

Knowledge of DevOps (CI/CD, Cloud)?

Working knowledge in Agile, Networking, SQL/database, Git?

Experience using Microsoft suite of products and experience working in a professional setting in some capacity in a related field?

Ability to solve complex problems and outline solutions and collaborate effectively (examples where they have accomplished)

Program Overview

Training: September 23rd - November 22nd (7am-4pm AZ time; 9am-5pm CST; 10am-6pm EST

- 9-week intensive training (100% remote then hybrid starts 10/21/2024)

- Once October 21st rolls around it will be Training remote 3 days/week & 2 days/week onsite training)

- No time off during September 23rd to November 22nd

On The Job Contract to Hire: November 25th, 2024 - November 25th, 2025 (Local time 8am - 5pm)

- Onsite 3-5 days a week

- Time off is allowed if manager approved, 1 week of paid time off.

Timeline Details

9 weeks training/bootcamp September 23rd - November 22nd )

Must have a computer with Windows 10, Internet access, i7 processor or greater, 16 GB of RAM or greater, 256 hard drive or greater with at least 100Gb available, Webcam with Microphone/headset.

Compensated $39.50/hr (Paid out weekly)

This will be the equivalent of a full time job - with the expectation that you are logged in each day and participating accordingly.

The client is investing time and money in each person who attends the class, so if selected you will be asked to sign a 12 month commitment contract stating that you agree to work for the client (contracting and/or full time) for at least 12 months following the training.

Contract to Hire ( November 25th, 2024 - November 25th, 2025 )

During the contract portion you will be a W2 employee of TEKsystems, compensated $39.50/hr.

Additional mentorship and guidance will be provided during this time - we want to make sure you are successful in your IT career

MUST HAVE

Bachelor's degree within IT ( Computer Science, MIS, IT Concentration, Engineering are highly preferred )

256Gb Hard drive or greater (with at least 100Gb available)??

RAM: 12 GB Minimum, 64-bit Operating System??

Sign a 12-month commitment for free training. If you leave at any point before 11/25/2025, only then you will be asked to reimburse the client $16,000 for training.

Must be eligible to work in the US without company sponsorship now and in the future. (Contract and Full-time as a W-2 employee)

This will be at least a 40-hours/week commitment. This is very fast paced and in-depth training so be prepared for some homework at night and on weekends during training.

Must score over 75 on each of the IKM Assessments.
