The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The USCS team is focused on making membership an indisputable competitive advantage and helping each other become better leaders every day.

The U.S. Consumer Marketing team (USCM) is part of the US Consumer Services Group and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering world class marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged card members across the customer lifecycle.

The US Customer Loyalty team within US Consumer Marketing strives to deliver marketing on behalf of the enterprise that makes American Express essential to our Card Members, responsible for deepening Card Member loyalty along the lifecycle through the delivery of compelling messages at the right time to drive clear engagement outcomes.

This role sits on the Membership Value team, which has the mission to deliver compelling, relevant, and efficient offers, via personalized customer-first marketing, that makes Membership more rewarding. The Senior Analyst will lead our Amex Offer Card Member marketing email curriculum. You will be responsible for deploying and advancing the strategy to excite Card Members to enroll in offers, encourage them to redeem, and motivate them to do it again and again. You will strategize, optimize, innovate, and execute the largest and most complex email marketing program that reaches US Card Members.

This role is ideal for you if you are a customer-centric, collaborative, data-driven marketer that enjoys a good challenge and is eager to make a big impact on the business. 

Responsibilities

  • Help evolve the Amex Offer Card Member Marketing Strategy, to inspire Card Members to enroll in and redeem offers.
  • Lead the execution of marketing campaigns with a focus on deploying the Amex Offer email marketing curriculum.
  • Manage agency and vendor relationships as part of the execution of the marketing curriculum.
  • Continually advance our strategy and performance by expanding to additional treatments, new channels, innovating our tactics, and applying a test & learn approach.
  • Manage our Amex Offer email marketing curriculum reporting package and identify trends and insights.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across American Express, including other marketers in US Customer Loyalty Marketing, as well as with Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS), Analytics Teams, the Amex Offers Product, Platforms, Execution and Email capabilities teams.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of digital marketing execution experience. Email marketing experience required.
  • Track record of driving measurable results through creative, customer-centric marketing.
  • Excellent analytic skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions and translate insights into winning strategies.
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Collaborative approach, and the ability to partner effectively across band levels.
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to take initiative, adapt well to change, and problem-solve independently.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
