We are hiring a dynamic Variable Compensation Program Lead. If you have a knack for financial analysis, experience in ICM/SPM best practices and administration working directly with sales teams and a minimum of five years in variable compensation design, we want to hear from you!
You will build strong, long-term relationships with field sales colleagues and home office sales support colleagues and develop specific, needs-based compensation recommendations for our sales field.
Job Description:
*Manage and oversee the sales compensation program, including developing program provisions, directing Colleagues regarding administration, developing metrics for measurement, and interfacing directly with our sales colleagues.
*Direct and oversee all aspects of field reporting, including providing final sign-off for all field reports.
*Manage communication, messaging, and information exchange with field Colleagues in a way that enhances and improves sales results across all levels and regions.
*Work consultatively with American Fidelity Education Services (AFES) and Association and Worksite Division (AWD), sales, product development, and actuarial leaders on overall strategy to ensure we are establishing consistent and complimentary business models, leveraging best practices, and managing metrics and reports in order to objectively recognize successes, predict challenges and plan for growth and investment opportunities.
*Provide technical expertise to support compensation modeling, create and maintain compensation calculations, and ideally design and implement compensation provisions and reporting in an ICM or SPM system.
Skills of the Ideal Candidate:
-Minimum five years' experience in variable compensation design and program management
-Knowledge of financial analysis, including data modeling, reporting, and budgeting, sales delivery model including value proposition for employer groups and product portfolio
-Knowledge of ICM/SPM best practices and report creation
-Minimum three years in leadership/management position or demonstration of strong leadership skills in comparable roles
-Basic skills in planning and project management, and in maintaining composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadline
-Exceptional written communication skills
-Ability to work effectively with limited supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously self-motivation, team player and positive attitude
-Demonstrate integrity and ethics in handling confidential information.
