American Beauty is opening our second location in the Fall. We are seeking an Executive Sous Chef to join our opening team.
American Beauty celebrates wood grilled steaks and seafood accompanied by a creative approach to Cali greens. We take a craftsman’s approach to cocktails and proudly offer a wine list of over 200 selections from around the world. We are serious about food, wine, spirits, and hospitality, yet aim to be a neighborhood favorite with approachable, good-natured and informed team members who take pride in a job well done, value inclusion, and love people.
We are seeking a passionate, experienced Executive Sous Chef to lead our team. A qualified candidate will be a positive-minded and inspirational role model, passionate about product, committed to upholding our culinary standards, and skilled at building a team.
WE OFFER:

• Base salary $80,000-$90,000 plus Benefits and Perks

Qualifications:

• Have at least 2 years of high-volume CDC, Exec Sous or Sous experience in a product driven environment
• General oversight of our culinary vision, standard and operation
• Hire, train and develop a high performing, motivated and positive culinary team
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of business ops and financials
• Possess extensive ingredient knowledge and an understanding of culinary trends
• Proven track record of developing successful dishes
• Flexible and open availability is required
