We have an excellent opportunity for a Project Coordinator, Health Initiativesin Dallas, TX. The Project Coordinator will drive the execution of health impact goals within the North Texas areas by implementing systemic initiatives that address the social determinants of health with an emphasis on hypertension/blood pressure, women's health, nutrition, and tobacco/e-cigarette use with a focus on diverse communities.

This is an office-based position that offers a hybrid schedule. The office is in Irving, TX.

Responsibilities:

Some of the responsibilities will include:

  • Engage in collective community impact efforts, supporting the North Texas Health Strategies Team.
  • Supervise and implement the customization and creation of funded community and clinical programs that efficiently and effectively support the teams overall success in revenue generation, community impact, and brand alignment.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program implementation is effective and meets established deadlines.
  • Showcase corporate and community impact through impact reporting, donor experiences and external facing documents.
  • Implement sustainable tracking/implementation systems for community and clinical programs.
  • Collaborate with development staff partners and volunteers to identify, cultivate and secure program funding, including sponsorship (cash and in-kind) for relevant campaigns.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years experience working with community/public health issues and/or leading community/public health promotion or related educational programs or college degree in health promotion and/or health education.
  • 1 year of experience in project management.
  • Experience working with multicultural communities preferred.
  • Understanding of local health systems, relationships with hospitals, health clinics, and Federally Qualified Health Centers preferred.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills in assessing the local market environment and available resources to successfully implement new and existing programs.
  • Proven ability to recruit, mobilize, and manage volunteers.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large projects and events ensuring deadline compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently participate in a multi-disciplinary team environment working towards common goals with internal and external clients. Ability to influence team members without supervisory authority.
  • Must have at least intermediate knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lift and/or move large objects (such as boxes) with the expectation that heavier items would be broken down into smaller components or requesting additional assistance may be required before lifting and/or moving.
  • Ability to travel locally in the North Texas area approximately X%; requires access to reliable transportation at all times on an immediate basis.
