American Insulated Glass is a leading glass fabricator and wholesale distributor, specializing in providing high-quality insulated, laminated, tempered, fire-rated, and beveled glass products to glazing contractors and window manufacturers. Dedicated to serving both commercial and residential end markets, AIG also distributes a full line of float glass, mirror, and decoration glass solutions.

We are seeking an experienced hard-working and reliable CNC Operator to join our growing operation in Ijamsville, Maryland. We require an operator who can pay careful attention on the job, follow instructions precisely, and double-check his or her work before completing a task.

Pay

Skills/Abilities

• Previous work experience as a CNC operator for at least 1 year.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and stick to a deadline.
• Experience in Order Entry.

Work attire:

• You would provide yourself steel toed shoes and long pants. ​
• Also, must wear cut shirt, safety glasses, and gloves (company provided).

Requirements

• Positive attitude
• Applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Must be able to lift, sit, stand, walk and climb as part of the position.
• Must be able to work in hot/cold environment.
• Must be a team player and willing to help other areas as needed.
• Ability to use tape measure and simple hand tools
• Ability to lift at least 75lbs, possibly more with team lift.
