About American International College:
American International College is a private, coeducational institution of higher education located on a 88 acre campus in Springfield, Massachusetts. The campus has 42 buildings on two sites approximately 1/2 mile apart. Included in the inventory of buildings are student residences for a resident population of 900 students. Job Description:
Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Undergraduate Recruitment the Assistant Director of Transfer Recruitment is responsible for all domestic undergraduate transfer recruitment with a particular focus on recruitment from Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York Community Colleges.
Requirements:
A minimum bachelor's degree is required. Minimum of at least 3 years of experience in transfer admissions and recruitment, college admissions, and/or other customer service organizations with proven evidence of being able to meet pre-determined enrollment and/or budget goals.
Prior experience working in an CRM application system including but not limited to AY application systems, Salesforce, TargetX, Slate, and ERPs, including Banner for an educational institution highly desirable.
Spanish proficiency considered, but not required.
Excellent time management skills and flexibility to balance significant travel and in-office responsibilities.
Out of region domestic travel (4-6 weeks per year) may be required, as well as some evening and weekend work.
Proven ability to work independently, excellent communication and presentation skills, sensitivity and responsiveness to the needs of diverse constituencies, and managing goals. Spanish proficiency highly desirable, but not required.
Ability to handle a wide variety of job duties and prioritize based on the supervisory direction.
The candidate will need to be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
