American Leadership Academy is now accepting applications for a Part Time Gifted Teacher for the 2024-2025 academic school year. Candidates must be highly qualified and possess a valid AZ IVP fingerprint clearance card.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Teaching gifted students in a pull-out program at one to two schools
• Teach pull-out classes at each school, twice a week, during rotating special time
• Responsible for working with teachers on DEPs
• Work with homeroom teachers to meet the needs of the gifted students, both socially and academically
• Coordinate gifted testing three times a year
• Complete progress reports each semester for gifted students
• Enter students in academic contests such as Geography Bee, Science Olympiad, Rubric Cubes, Science Fairs, etc.
• Follow designated curriculum
• Responsible for performing duties as assigned at schools where you work
• Work with as a team with other gifted teachers and team lead
