Job Summary
The audiovisual technician will provide the full range of audiovisual functions and equipment to support classroom and conferencing activities. Provide prompt support to 15 conference rooms and 6 classrooms equipped with VTC and audiovisual equipment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Coordinate with the conference room points of contact to conduct pre-meeting or event setups.
Operate the VTC and AV equipment before the meetings start (approximately 90 percent of the time, the Contractor shall not be required to stay through the entire meeting or event).
Generate an ESD ticket to the Tier II VTC support team within 30 minutes for issues discovered requiring their support.
Document any support performed in the Executive conference rooms. Generate an ESD ticket for the Tier II VTC support team to document equipment malfunctions.
VTC and A/V conference room support shall be included with the Weekly Status Report.
Education and/or Experience
Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
Effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, in the English language.
Work EnvironmentWork will be performed on site at the Government location at 7485 New Horizon Way, Frederick, MD 21703, with work during the core hours of 7:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
