An excellent skilled nursing organization that owns multiple skilled nursing facilities located throughout the Northeast, Ohio region is looking for a strong Traveling Director of Nursing (DON) to travel to and manage the nursing departments of their long term care skilled nursing facilities.

*Salary: Up to $130K per year (depending on experience)*

Responsibilities of the Traveling Director of Nursing:

• Provide effective nurse management (hiring, development, training, performance feedback, etc.) that assures utilization of personnel to best meet the needs of the people receiving supports and services.
• Develop and implement health care related training that assures the best possible delivery of health related supports and services.
• Review training at least annually and makes modifications as needed.

Requirements of the Traveling Director of Nursing:

• Must have current Ohio RN License
• Must have prior Director of Nursing experience
• Must have strong clinical background & knowledge
• Must have long term care experience
• Must be willing to travel
