LOCATION : Within travel distance of any APC facility.

REPORT : Corporate CS Manager

SUMMARY : The Customer Relations Partner manages and implements strategic sourcing and customer relationship strategies for the organization.

This business partner will be primarily responsible to build and manage customer relationships to drive positive business value to the assigned customer on key accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Continually seeks optimal value in service from customers, reviewing and monitoring performance and return on investment metrics.
  • Works closely with the Account Manager on customer, marketing and pricing strategies.
  • Works closely with Customer Service team members on obtaining information for the customer when concerns arise.
  • Serves as the point of contact for all internal customer interactions.
  • Produces a database of all open orders and is engaged in trial process for new business.
  • Follows up with management to ensure satisfaction with delivered products and services and addresses any problems or concerns.
  • Reviews Customer MRP and or forecast to ensure availability of materials.
  • Manages customer lead times based on COE capabilities.
  • Internal process management - Breaking down barriers between departments and functions, and mediating between customer service, production control, sales, and senior leadership.
  • Understanding business needs - Collaborating with business leaders to understand goals, challenges, and strategies.
  • Project management - Manage projects and ensure they align with the growth objectives, technology solutions, and competitively priced to provide maximum return on investment.
  • Conflict Resolution - Strong leadership in managing conflict and ensuring a level of persistency with internal customers, the objective is to find the best solution for our customers.
  • Communicating effectively - Managing expectations effectively by establishing and maintaining customer trust.
  • Facilitate customer satisfaction - Works to improve and maintain strong business relationships with key customers.
  • Strategic planning - Works with and is a key resource for sales leadership associates to plan and execute the onboarding of new business to achieve 5 year growth objectives.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to interact with internal customers and external customers, build strong relationships at all levels and across all business units and organizations, and understand business imperatives.
  • Customer service marketing experience and cross functional business experience are credentials that add to the skill set of a successful Customer Relation Partner.
  • A skilled Customer Relations Account Manager should have conflict management experience for when supply chain or quality control issues arise.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :

Associate (A. A.) from a two-year college; with 3-5 years of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS :

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY :

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
