Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess a diverse skill set in various medical areas.
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patients' care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention
- Assist in procedures such as IV insertion, suture removal, and tube feeding
- Perform pain management interventions and health coaching
- Participate in discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions for patients leaving the facility
Experience:
- Previous experience in trauma medicine or assisted living facilities is advantageous
- Proficiency in IV infusion techniques and IV insertion
- Familiarity with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems
- Strong skills in wound care, suture removal, and patient education
