The American Swiss Foundation is the leading private organization dedicated to strengthening the historic friendship between the United States and Switzerland. We are looking for a highly motivated person to fill the position of Programs and Communications Manager.
Working closely with the Executive Director, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day program coordination and communications for the Foundation. This position is well-suited to someone with large event coordination and social media experience who is interested in learning more about non-profit administration, event management, fundraising, and international affairs. This person will oversee the Program Assistant.
Responsibilities
Program Support and Coordination: The Programs and Communications Manager will support the Executive Director by managing all ASF events in the U.S. and Switzerland.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Excellent writing and communication skills; native level English required
- Two to three years of experience leading people
- Five to seven of experience coordinating large events
- Two to three years of experience with social media and external communications
- Some level of experience editing videos
- Some level of graphic design desirable
- Experience with Blackbaud RE NXT, Constant Contact, Classy, Canva, Salesforce, and Perfect Table desirable
- Interest in international affairs and current events desirable
- Must be comfortable working independently
- Authorization to work in the U.S. is required
