Americo Manufacturing is looking an Sales Representative to join our PromoMatting team at our Cartersville Location. This position will assist the Matting Divisions sales team in developing and maintaining partnerships with new and existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for answering leads and quote requests; prospecting for new business and restoring inactive accounts that haven’t purchased within 2 years.
• Consistently surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas.
• Submit virtual requests/ assist with product education for customers.
• Establish lasting customer relationships through frequent contact and follow-up.
• Data entry including updating customer notes in CRM system.
• Enter Sample orders when necessary.
• Manage distributed leads after tradeshows.
• Contribute ideas for the R&D of new products.
• Attend all monthly sales meetings.
• Attend virtual trade shows when needed/requested.
• Attend local and out of state trade shows when needed/requested.
• Other duties as assigned, including administrative/ back-up to other salespeople.

Education and/or Experience:

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.

Language Skills:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
