We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team. This pivotal role focuses on refining and developing systems for donor communications, program administration, employee reimbursement, and expenditures. Additionally, the Operations Coordinator will spearhead the creation of a corporate volunteer program to generate revenue. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, the ability to work independently, and a passion for our mission of empowering youth through sports, literacy, and service. Experience in operations management, donor communications, and volunteer program development within a nonprofit setting and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field are preferred. Member Duties : The VISTA at America SCORES Seattle will be part of the 2024-2025 Up2Us Sports VISTA nationwide cohort of 41 members. The Operations Coordinator VISTA will: enhance existing systems and create new processes for donor communications, program administration, and financial operations; implement comprehensive communication plans, including acknowledgment letters and thank-you emails; develop and coordinate a program to engage local businesses, including setting up software, email templates, and school communications; evaluate, implement, and manage software solutions for donor and volunteer management; coordinate with program staff to streamline communications with partner schools; participate in in-person meetings weekly, attend events, and be available as needed.
