The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Full Stack Sr.NET Developer at our office located in Dallas, TX. (Home-Based work available)

The Full Stack Sr.NET Developer is responsible for designing, developing, modifying, analyzing, securing, administering, supporting, and handling .Net solutions that support the associations overarching strategies applying knowledge and skills associated with web and mobile technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyzes, secures, administers, supports, and manages Azure .Net solutions. Writes code and performs system/applications testing for the associations web applications and properties.
  • Provides debugging, system testing and technical support for digital technologies associated with assigned applications. Assists in fulfilling the day-to-day support and maintenance tasks of the Associations digital assets.
  • Provides analysis and development of databases including base definition, structures, documentation, operational guidelines, and protection. Estimates development efforts in conjunction with business requests.
  • Follows and suggests improvements of web support and operation methodologies with associated standards and procedures for the Associations 24 by 7 web environment, at all levels, including application and server levels.
  • Transfers web properties from the digital development team into operational status within the framework of the Associations build/deployment schedules and processes. Provides appropriate documentation and artifacts of web products, operational processes and work status for team metric reports.
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Provides technical expertise and consultation to team members and business partners.
  • Build and deploy applications to Dev, Test, UAT and Production environments

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Software Development, Information Technology, related certifications or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in designing, developing, modifying, and building web applications using Microsoft technologies in the Azure environment (App Services, API Management Service, SQL Databases etc.)
  • Must have a solid grasp of programming languages and frameworks. Hands on experience with front end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Java Script (jQuery, React, Angular, Vue), JSON and XML and back-end expertise in .NET.
  • Understanding of overarching web architecture is a must. Should be able to design scalable, robust, and secure system architecture with performance in mind. Must be able to implement API, design data models and understand design patterns.
  • Proficient in SQL programming (DDL and DML). Experienced in developing complex quires and Stored Procedures and having a good understanding of database concepts (Data Modeling) is a must.
  • Must be a problem solver with excellent analytical skills. Should have methodical approach to solving problems, think critically and debug efficiently. Solutions oriented with good problem-solving skills
  • Should be familiar with Accessibility guidelines and incorporate them in the code delivered.
  • Familiarity with the CICD/Dev Ops/Agile development methodologies and automated testing.
  • Experience with developing POC based on the business need to demonstrate feasibility and gain approval from business.
  • Experience with translating the requirements into high-level design for cross technical team acceptance. Once the agreement is reached should be able to translate the requirements into low-level design and implement the solution. Collaborate with fellow developers, designers, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with ticketing systems; troubleshooting web application defects and debugging with in-browser tools.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet project deadlines
  • Customer service minded with superb interpersonal skills
  • Collaborate with the leads/BAs to understand the scope of work and come up with the level of effort to complete the task.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Source control tools Visual Studio (VSTS)
  • Proficient in C#, Visual Basic .Net development languages
Compensation & Benefits:

Expected pay range will be $105,000 - $115,000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range
