Teaching CARE Members will integrate content based on an understanding of the subject matter, curriculum, and processes to be taught. Members will plan for instruction based on knowledge, curriculum, and a wide range of instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners. Members will assess students using formative and summative assessment strategies to make appropriate instructional decisions. Teaching CARE members will serve on average 25 youth within eastern North Carolina. Members will gain strategies and concepts on equity and resiliency in rural communities. Members will assess students using formative and summative assessment strategies to make appropriate instructional decisions. Additionally, members will be responsible for clearly communicating with students, parents, and other professionals.
