Job Summary AmeriLife is in the midst of an exciting and significant transformation of its operational infrastructure to better serve the evolving needs of its stakeholders across the country. As such, we're looking for a Contracting Specialist to help us continue pushing our ambitious roadmap forward. This temporary role will be a 6-month assignment. The Contracting Specialist is a key contributor to the success of the contracting area and the business they support throughout the organization. This person must be well organized, able to work with various insurance carrier representatives as well as partner with internal operations and key stakeholders simultaneously. Job Description Duties/Responsibilities
Conduct agent outreach to resolve contracting open issues
Enter agent information into contracting system
Monitor exception reports, research solutions and address exceptions as needed
Ensure commission (and hierarchy levels if applicable) match contracts for agents, agencies, and carriers
Communicate with internal account management team to ensure agency and affiliate satisfaction
Communicate and engage with Carriers and External Partners as needed
Fulfill and Assist with Agent Release Requests as needed
Monitor and support resolving notices from internal partners (commissions, new business, etc.)
facilitate and complete all onboarding intake calls, emails, required paperwork processing, and associated processes
Assist with all agent onboarding (direct or brokerage) activities (certification, product training, etc.)
Utilize and comply with established performance management systems and process expectations (Enlighten, Unqork, etc.)
Perform duties within required service level agreement terms and performance requirements including timeliness, productivity and quality.
Actively participate in team meetings, planning and process improvement activities
Support short-term and on-going operational activities (other duties) as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Self-starter with ability to learn quickly
Highly skilled in attention to detail
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Positive approach to taking initiative and creative problem solving
Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite or similar (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
