Now is your chance to join an organization where WHAT YOU DO MATTERS ! AmeriQual Group, LLC a food packaging facility, is seeking a self-motivated, results-oriented individual to assume responsibilities as a QA Technician.

Job Purpose

The QA Tech is responsible for monitoring all incoming product and materials to be used for production. This position designates product good for use by performing quality inspections and verifying the proper documentation from vendors is received. The QA Tech also confirms counts warehouse provides for incoming material in order to maintain accurate inventory.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize Microsoft Office applications and a computerized Inventory Control system to track all incoming products
• Maintain and organize accurate receipt paperwork for all incoming products
• Perform required quality inspections in a timely manner
• Use scales and other QA instruments to inspect products
• Communicate with Supervisors and other departments via email and telephone
• Prioritize duties for each day based on shortage reports and the needs of production

Qualifications Include:

• HS Diploma required
• Knowledge of quality assurance, receiving, warehouse, and inventory control procedures preferred, but not necessary
• Computer proficiency a must, including the Microsoft Office applications Outlook, Access, Excel and Word
• Above average math and calculator skills needed
• Ability to work independently is necessary
• Demonstrate flexibility within a fast-paced environment
• Previous quality assurance or inventory control experience a plus
• Experience in a manufacturing plant preferred, but not necessary.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to sit at a computer for extended periods of time, as well as walk frequently. Bending and squatting may also be required. The associate is frequently required to lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
