• Important: HM is looking for a true BA/Business Amin! Someone who can speak to business stakeholders and translate to IT teams in detail. The HM is NOT looking for someone who has solely worked in IT BA roles with no Business stakeholder involvement! This is a HUGE qualifier so please apply ONLY if you meet these criteria.

Job Description:

• The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that leverage AWS and Snowflake to optimize data management and analytics.
• This individual will work with pertinent stakeholders to identify appropriate and necessary data and reporting requirements and turn them into actionable deliverables for the respective engineering teams.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Process Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
• Solution Design: Work with technical teams to design solutions that meet business needs.
• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive business and functional requirement documents, Jira user stories, use cases, and process/data flow diagrams.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
• Project Support: Assist in project planning, monitoring, and execution. Support project managers in tracking project deliverables and timelines.
• Testing: Coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and change processes to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Reporting: Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into business performance and project progress.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst with specialized knowledge in AWS and Snowflake to join our dynamic team.
• Experience utilizing Jira for project and work management across multiple teams.
• Familiarity with AWS services and offerings (e.g., S3, Glue) and Snowflake for data warehousing, ETL and ELT process, and data integrations.
• Expertise building and utilizing SQL/Snowflake views to support PBI reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have MS Outlook experience (i.e., schedule meetings, etc.).
