Furniture manufacturing company in Lewisville, TX is looking to hire Forklift Operator to be able to operate ALL: Rider EPJ, Sit-Down AND Stand-Up. In this role you will assist with the Shipping department by loading and unloading the correct product. This is a fast-paced environment and you will be monitored and limited on time and accuracy.

Schedule: Monday - Friday. Most common hours are 8am-5:30pm but MUST be FLEXIBLE to work hours within 7am-6pm and Saturdays AS NEEDED)

Pay rate: $18

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Operate a Stand-up, Sit-down, & Rider EPJ forklift to move, stack, and organize materials in a warehouse or production environment
• Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets in a timely and efficient manner
• Safely transport materials to designated areas within the facility
• Assist with verifying order accuracy and labeling as needed
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift and report any issues to the supervisor
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience (at least 1 yr) operating a forklift in a warehouse or production setting
• Knowledge of different types of forklifts such as order pickers, reach trucks, and EPJ
• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on the forklift
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Basic math skills to accurately count and record materials
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
• MUST PASS ALL SCREENINGS: DRUG TEST, BACKGROUND CHECK, E-VERIFY.
