Amherst is seeking an experienced Financial Systems program manager and professional to serve as the Director of Financial Systems with an emphasis on Yardi administration. This is a pivotal leadership role that supports our business and technology teams by knowing Yardi inside and out, collaborating with Accounting and Property Management leaders to optimize and enhance Yardi to serve business needs, and leading the Yardi administration team to implement the vision and product roadmap for Yardi’s daily and long-term management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Yardi product and platform enhancements to provide optimal performance for Amherst, and knowledge of accounting and real estate. The ideal candidate will have excellent project management, relationship building, and leadership skills. Responsibilities include: Collaborate with and solve problems for internal clients/heavy users of Yardi – mainly Accounting and Property Management Responsible for overseeing all direction and execution of strategic initiatives for all Financial Systems projects, specifically Yardi Define and document scope of Yardi initiatives and improvements Lead the implementation of Yardi upgrades Lead functional technology teams by owning the Yardi Product roadmap and vision and providing leadership through Yardi improvement projects Provide strategic recommendations to the business that enhance the financial and workflow performance and business opportunities Understand the opportunities and limitations within Yardi to serve our business needs Skills/Specialized Knowledge: S/BA in Business Finance or Accounting. MBA/CPA desired.
