This position reports to the Curator of Special Collection. The Library Specialist will interact with students, faculty, staff, and community members to provide educational and research assistance. This person will also monitor daily operations in the Special Collections reading room, assist with intake and transfer of new collections, provide support for digital projects, and train and supervise student employees. The successful applicant will have excellent communication and time management skills. Familiarity with digital scanning equipment and software and the Microsoft Office Suite is also desirable. A high school diploma and one year of related experience is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Education may be substituted for experience as determined by the university.
