Amirs is a full service restaurant and banquet facility in Elmont, NY. We are looking for a competent Restaurant Crew Member to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers a full range of dining services
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
• Assess customers’ needs and make recommendations
• Prepare and serve food and other products with the proper technique
• Check customers’ plates to ensure completeness and accuracy of service
• Maintain a positive attitude with the customers and communicate any problems or requests to the rest of the team
• Take orders and provide information to customers
• Follow instructions from management staff about food preparation, service, or other activities
• Work with other team members
• Stop, measure, and price goods
• Store goods in appropriate locations
• Clean equipment and supplies
• Work at a desk while standing for brief periods of time (e.g., during breaks)
• Help manage inventory by keeping food items in storage, preparing orders, and restocking when needed
• Control access to the kitchen area and maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with law

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Contract, Seasonal

Pay: $400.00 - $863.00 per week

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
