The Role
-The Labor & Employment Group is seeking an Attorney in the Chicago office with 6 or more years of experience
-Candidate must be licensed in Illinois and in good standing
-In addition to overall experience in employment law, it is indispensable that the candidate must have private-employer traditional labor experience which includes:
- Unions
- Collective bargaining
- NLRB matters
- Labor arbitrations
- Handling traditional labor matters in a variety of contexts
- Litigation, advice, and counseling for clients on traditional labor matters (single plaintiff/collective class action)
- Experience involving hiring and separation, wage and hour, EEO, non-compete and trade secrets, employment policies, agreements, and handbook reviews, due diligence for corporate transactions, employee accommodation and leave issues, investigations, and other labor and employment law issues
- Compensation $300k dependent on experience and expertise
- Working directly with the PGL and ultimately inheriting clients and business
