Amneal Pharmaceuticals is Hiring a Manager, Commercial Training & Development Near Bridgewater, NJ

Job DescriptionDescription:The Manager, Commercial Training & Development supports the design and development of training programs and content, in collaboration with internal stakeholders, aimed to advance our field sales leaders and representatives in the following areas: leadership development, product and disease-state training, operational training, soft skills and selling skills. This role will also measure the effectiveness of the training (via surveys, assessments, certifications, etc.), ensuring that training and programs contribute to the achievement of current and future objectives set forth by the organization. The Manager, Commercial Training & Development will also support the evaluation and implementation of available learning technologies, such as content creation, training and/or AI platforms, and will identify ways to incorporate these technologies to maximize program effectiveness.
Essential Functions:
  • Partner and support key stakeholders (including, but not limited to, sales training, sales, marketing, commercial operations) in order to design and develop appropriate training content.
  • Assist in the development of a training measurement strategy and lead the implementation of specific measurement tactics.
  • Proactively identify and build proficiencies in new learning technologies to continuously improve the effectiveness of our training programs.
  • Assist with the content upload and assignment process in the LMS.
  • Manage the Promotional Review Committee process for training assets, if applicable.
QualificationsEducation:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Related Fields (Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Training/Instructional Design) - Required
Experience:
  • At least 1 year of experience in training within the pharmaceutical industry - Required
  • At least 3 years’ experience in instructional design and/or creating training content - Required
Skills:
  • Collaboration - Advanced
    • Ability to work with a broad team and align on goals and objectives
    • Strong consultative skills
    • Ability to make persuasive recommendations based on business rationale and impact the decisions made and direction taken
  • Instructional Design/Training Content Creation – Advanced
    • In depth understanding of best practices in learning strategy development and execution
    • Proven experience and ability to implement best practices for curriculum development, delivery methods and measurement tactics
    • Ability to consult with the matrix team and design training content that meets identified learning objectives
    • Ability to proactively identify and learn new technologies that can be leveraged to increase the effectiveness of the training programs
  • Project Management – Advanced
    • Develop a timeline for sequencing the activities of a project
    • Establish specific goals to accomplish work in a timely manner
    • Prioritize various competing tasks and perform them efficiently according to their urgency
    • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
    • Ensure that others receive needed materials in time
    • Stay on schedule
    • Keep all parties informed of progress and all relevant changes to project timelines
    • Establish tactics that ensure appropriate change management is considered across the organization, leading to successful implementation
    • Oversee our applicable vendor relationships
