Amotec is currently supporting a search for a Continuous Improvement Manager. Located near Elverson, PA, our client is an industry-leading manufacturer. As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Process Engineering and Continuous Improvement teams, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. This role leverages methodologies such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing to drive site-wide improvements.

Continuous Improvement Manager Responsibilities:

• Serve as a resource for continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing.
• Oversee the activities of the CI group, ensuring effective collaboration with the maintenance and operations functions to drive site-wide improvements.
• Participate in site-wide planning, including capital management and inventory control.
• Lead CI development and training, facilitating special CI events to enhance plant performance by eliminating waste and improving yield and production processes.
• Promote engagement with production personnel to identify and suggest improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with the accounting department to quantify, measure, and report cost savings and project expenditures, ensuring projects stay on budget.

Continuous Improvement Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 8 years of experience in continuous improvement methodologies and techniques in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical skills to measure and report on cost savings and project expenditures.
• Metals experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP and other relevant systems is a plus.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
