Client: Healthcare

Title: Sr. Communications Consultant

Duration: 12 Months (Temp to perm)

Work Site Location: Remote (Travel required - Reston, VA and DC office --- 3 to 4 times a month)

· 8 yrs. exp.

· Develop Communication strategies

· Materials development --- monthly newsletters, presentations, talkers, white papers, press releases

· Channels – Internal coms; external communications material development

· Draft & create compelling content for Town hall meetings, conferences

· Crisis communications – outline messaging & information from senior leadership team to deliver it across the organization / Messaging on behalf of senior leadership

· Presentations & digital communications on intranet / Website

· Ideal candidate – Prior exp. in Executive communications / working with directors or GMs

· Not looking for just Tech Writers or Copywriters

· Education ---- Bachelor's mandatory

Skills:

· Experience in executive communications, strategic planning with proven ability to develop strategies Advanced

· Strong proofreading and editing skills. Advanced

· Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships. Advanced

· Executive level presentation skills Advanced

· Participates with Senior Leadership on strategy development and issue resolution. Advanced

Essential functions:

· 40% Provides executive leadership with a platform to articulate organizational goals, foster transparency and align with the Company’s vision. Works closely with business divisions to understand opportunities and priorities to provide strategic oversight and direction of various communications need which may be anticipated or unplanned.

· 30% leads the development and amplification of strategic communications, including but not limited to tactical printed marketing materials, digital communications, and presentations, thought leadership, talking points, and more.

· 20% Works collaboratively with senior leadership to prepare them for high-stake engagements and strengthen their everyday communications.

10% Leverages analytics to determine effectiveness and seek continual improvements of communications engagement.
