Pay Rate: $45/hr. on W2.
ESG & CSR Analyst Job Description
The ESG Reporting Analyst supports the ESG team on cross-functional efforts to manage, analyze, and report on Cox’s Environmental Social, and Governance data. The analyst will provide key data insights to help guide measurement, program success, investment, and learning in ways that align with Cox’s CSR and ESG objectives. The role will provide general support across Cox’s ESG reporting efforts, and work with team members to execute the delivery of assessments and reporting efforts such as CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project), GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), the S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment, third-party data assurance, alignment to GHG protocol, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
· Support ESG data collection, analysis and alignment to Cox’s prioritized ratings, rankings and frameworks, including:
· S&P CSA
· CDP
· GRI
· Develop insights on ESG data and identify gaps.
· Provides ongoing support of ESG IT systems for data reporting and analytics.
· Support ESG data assurance, verification, and remediation efforts with internal and external stakeholders.
· Support efforts to prepare for upcoming legislation, including California and CSRD
· Ad hoc project work as needed.
Qualifications:
· Approximately 3 years of experience in ESG data analytics.
· Experience working with ESG frameworks, including GRI, SASB, TCFD, etc.
· Experience preparing and submitting ESG assessments, including CDP and S&P CSA.
· Experience with ESG data verification, assurance, and auditing.
· Strong understanding of the GHG Protocol.
· Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
· Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, social impact, data analysis or other relevant field of study.
· Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective work relationships.
· Experience with planning and organizing in a high-volume, deadline-oriented environment.
· Ability to work proactively and independently to execute responsibilities.
· Proficiency in Excel – Pivot, VLOOKUP, modeling, forecasting, etc.
· Proficient with SAAS Technology, Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
