Ampsight is seeking a dynamic and creative Graphic Artist with a knack for visual innovation to join our team. This role is ideal for a problem-solving individual who thrives in collaborative environments. The Graphic Artist will work closely with clients to understand their needs in order to develop compelling, visual narratives that effectively communicate their message. This position requires a blend of creativity, communication skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in multimedia design and grasp of the latest design technologies and techniques. Responsibilities
Prepares visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts
Plans, analyzes, and creates original visual solutions to communications projects
Identifies the most effective way to get messages across in print and electronic media using color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques
Develops the overall layout and production design of magazines, newspapers, journals, corporate reports, and other publications
Uses perspective, isometric, orthographic, and schematic techniques to prepare technical and non-technical illustrations and line drawings for slide presentations, view graphics, reports, brochures, etc.
Produces promotional displays, packaging, and marketing brochures for products and services, designs distinctive logos for products and businesses, and develop signs and signage systems for business and government
Develops material for Web pages, interactive media, and multimedia projects
Gathers relevant information by meeting with clients, creative or art directors, and by performing own research.
Prepares sketches or layouts-by hand or with the aid of a computer-to illustrate vision for the design
Work closely with a team of fellow Systems Integrators and Communications Officers
Provide graphic development support for analytic and other communication products across the Sponsor organization.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop compelling graphic products to convey strategic information to Senior stakeholders across the Sponsor organization and broader IC
Assist with other communication products as required
Manage and uphold brand standards in accordance with style guide across Sponsor organization.
Provide programmatic support and stakeholder engagement
Provide a total system perspective to the role, including a technical understanding of sponsor products, partnership, dependencies and capabilities
Qualifications
Experience collaborating with teams/clients/team lead/customer
Experience with building PowerPoints, charts, layouts, for briefings to leadership
Experience designing brochures, trifolds, posters, banners, business cards, and other promotional content for external meetings, events or conferences
Experience in print publication design and layouts - such as newsletters, briefs, and whitepapers
A understanding of basics of color palettes, software, hardware, type/font, and design techniques
Demonstrates attention to detail
Ability to visually solve customer problems
Can perform other multimedia roles if needed
Experience with branding graphics such as brand guides, logos, templates
Requirements
US Citizenship required
3 years of experience, 2 years of government design preferred
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Multimedia or a related field
An active TS Security (SCI Eligible)
Willing to go onsite as needed
Must provide a portfolio (digital or web URL) of fact sheets, newsletters, presentations, brochures, charts/graphs, and logos that demonstrates examples of professional work and mastery of technical and creative design skills.
