Automation Tester

Rally , NC , Hartford Ct , Indian polis ,Richardson & Phoenix

Key Responsibilities:

• Automated Testing: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver to validate the functionality and performance of web applications.
• Agile Practices: Collaborate with Agile teams to define testing requirements, participate in sprint planning, and ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes are followed.
• Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA. Work closely with developers to facilitate timely resolution.
• Test Reporting: Generate and maintain test reports and dashboards to provide insights into test coverage, execution status, and defect trends.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and developers to understand application requirements and provide feedback on potential improvements.
• Best Practices: Implement and promote best practices for automated testing and quality assurance within the team.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: Proven experience as an Automation Tester with hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks.
• Agile Experience: Demonstrated experience working in Agile environments with Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test script development. Familiarity with test management tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
