Role: Logistics Product Owner/Scrum Master

Location: Cincinnati, OH (Onsite)

Job Description:

One of the largest global third-party logistics firms, based in Cincinnati is looking for an onsite Product Owner/Scrum Master for a large modernization project. The role is responsible for working with product managers to help define the product as well as run the scrum team consisting of developers, Quality engineers and UI/UX designer. You will be working closely with a cross-functional team on a new initiative targeted at modernizing a business-critical application over the next 4 years.

Responsibilities:

• Assists Program Manager in Definition of Epics and Features

• Creates and maintains a well-defined product backlog, writing clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.

• With PM, Refines Stories and Supports Development Within a Sprint

• Provides Reporting Metrics Against Each Sprint

• Leads Sprint Planning and Reporting

• Oversees Product Release Process

• Gathers Performance Metrics and Provides to PM for Reporting Purposes

• Schedules and Drives Scrum Ceremonies in a SAFe Agile environment including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Scrum of Scrums, Sprint Demos and Sprint Retrospectives

• Identifies and removes impediments to team progress, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

• Serve as the primary point of contact between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

Required Skills:

• 5 years’ experience in Product Management

• Previous experience in supply chain, freight management, or 3PL

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skill

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills

• Be able to work in a hybrid environment with 3-4 days in the office

• Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)
