Overview: Ampure is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing shipping, receiving, packaging, and data analysis of freight invoices. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations across our supply chain, with a focus on managing and processing invoices efficiently

Responsibilities

• Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Coordinate domestic and international transportation logistics, including selecting carriers and optimizing routes.
• Packaging: Oversee packaging processes to ensure goods are prepared appropriately for shipment, adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Invoice Management: Retrieve open invoices from carriers and 3PLs.
• Supplier Communication: Maintain effective communication with suppliers and freight carriers to resolve any supply chain issues.
• Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings within the supply chain. Prepare reports and provide insights to optimize logistics operations
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to shipping, receiving, and invoicing. Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in supply chain operations, specifically in shipping, receiving, packaging, and invoice management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Experience in ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Knowledge of transportation logistics, freight rates, and invoice processing.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs procedures (preferred).
• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS) is a plus.
