Position Overview:
As the RN Manager of the Emergency Department (ED) Nights, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the night operations of the ED. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Leadership:
- Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing staff in the Emergency Department during night shifts.
- Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.
- Staff Management:
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and mentoring as needed.
- Coordinate and schedule nursing staff for optimal coverage.
- Quality Assurance:
- Monitor and assess the quality of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
- Compliance and Regulations:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and policies.
- Participate in the development and implementation of protocols and procedures.
- Emergency Preparedness:
- Oversee the department's readiness for emergencies, ensuring staff are trained and equipment is maintained.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall emergency preparedness.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Foster effective communication within the ED team and with other departments.
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary services, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Minimum leadership experience: Strong Charge RN
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
