Job Description:

Our client, a growing boutique law firm, has an immediate opening in their San Antonio office for a licensed attorney with 2 years' experience in complex litigation. This position focuses on providing the firms’ clients with exemplary customer service and guidance in matters involving Business, Trusts & Estates and Real Estate. Candidates should have experience in all aspects of litigation including drafting and preparing pleadings, motions and other litigation documents, trial preparation and court appearances.

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
• Candidates should possess strong academic credentials and excellent research, writing and communication skills and can work independently.
• Demonstrate excellent attention detail, organization and is self-motivated.
• Minimum of 2 years of plaintiff or defense experience with Business, Trusts & Estates and Real Estate.
• Software: Must have proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, (Outlook, Word) and billing software experience. Previous experience in Clio, Ring Central and Dropbox is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• The position requires the ability to work independently and be able to meet deadlines, multi-task, and handle a high volume of cases.
• Research complicated legal issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, discovery requests and responses, and all other documents in a timely manner.
• Work closely with other attorneys and support staff in efficient communication and status updates.
• Handle court appearances, client meetings, and depositions.
• Communicate with clients regularly.
• Meet minimum 1800 Billable Hours Annually.
