The Staff Accountant should also possess the ability to review and analyze accounts and meet timelines in completing assignments with deadlines and due dates and have strong integrity and ethics. This position is at our corporate location located in Tampa, Florida.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

• Performs general ledger balance sheet reconciliations and verifies accuracy of data.
• Fixed Assets.
• Lease accounting.
• Assist with financial audit preparation.
• Assist with account payable tasks.
• Assist with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Support monthly and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and accruals.
• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, and entering transactions.
• Applies a broad knowledge of advanced accounting methods and procedures.
• Department projects and other duties as assigned.

Educational/Other Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• CPA required.
• 2-4 years of accounting experience preferably with public accounting experience
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills and ability to multi-task
• Strong knowledge and proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
