Are you looking for an opportunity to make a little extra cash?

We are looking for a part-time Janitor in the Fort Worth, Texas area. Work will be performed at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Texas Coastal & Central Plains Ecological Services Field Office (ESFO), 3233 Curtis Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76116. This position reports to the Amstability Director of Operations.

Workdays: Monday – Friday (one day per week)

Work Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, as needed (approximately 2 hours per day)

Duties and Responsibilities

· Empty trash receptacles, replace trash bags, wipe down and ensure trash receptacles are odor free.

· Clean and disinfect bathroom fixtures. Replenish supplies.

· Clean break room tables and remove trash.

· Sweep, vacuum, dust / wet mop, spot clean and shampoo carpets, resilient floors, entrance area, cubicles and hallway.

· Dust and clean all interior surfaces.

· Clean glass doors and interior windows.

· Clean and disinfect drinking fountain.

Qualifications for Janitor

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

· Must be authorized to work in the United States.

· Ability to communicate in English – to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally.

· Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies.

· Must be able to do physical work and operate equipment normally found in janitorial operations.

· Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 2 per week
