AMT Inc. – a leading manufacturer of Precision Investment Castings – has an immediate opening for a wax pattern injector in our Sharon Springs, NY facility.

The position is full-time hourly on our second shift, Monday - Thursday, from 2PM - 12:30AM. The job requires working in our air conditioned wax pattern injection and assembly department. Candidates must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Wax injection experience is not required; however, anyone with a background with hand tools, metal working, manufacturing, and operations is encouraged to apply.

Manufacturing Operator

Responsibilities

• Reporting to and performing tasks as assigned by department supervisor
• Basic operation of general manufacturing equipment
• Adherence to all company standards of conduct including adherence to safety standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Prolonged periods of sitting or standing

Qualifications

• Outstanding work ethic and the ability to multi-task
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and specifications with guidance from supervisor
• Ability to wear PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to stay focused with strong attention to detail
