Accounting Clerk
South 226th Street Kent WA USA 98032
Pay rate: $19-30/hr. (Depending on Experience)
1st shift - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Mondays to Fridays
Functions and Responsibilities
- Collection of outstanding accounts receivables from customers
- Application of cash receipts to customer accounts
- Resolution of payment disputes
- Preparation of related month-end journal entries and reports
- Responsible for general accounting duties as assigned
- Prioritize daily workload to consistently meet deadlines.
- Work with coworkers to accomplish daily tasks and occasional projects.
- Communicate with personnel within and outside of the organization including but not limited to employees, customers, and vendors.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with team members, other personnel, and management.
- Perform regular duties with moderate supervision.
- An intermediate level of computer skills.
- Strong 10-key, typing, and data entry skills.
- Intermediate-level Excel skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Adapts easily to changing environments.
- Able to learn quickly.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
