HR ADMINISTRATOR

Part-time

Location: Camarillo, CA 93012

Qualifications:

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant, or relevant role
  • Experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS
  • Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.
  • Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
  • BS in Human Resources or relevant field
  • Basic understanding of Human Resources principles, including benefits and California wage/hour law.
  • Detail-oriented, able to evaluate and solve problems, patient, relates well to diverse individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.

Position Duties:

Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Answer basic questions regarding Company policies and procedures.
  • Answer employees’ queries about HR-related matter and coordinate appropriate party.
  • Support Human Resources team as needed.
  • Coordinate and verify HR related employment with temps and new hires.
  • Create and maintain electronic personnel, medical and training files.
  • Input training records into training database.
  • Scan and input documentation.
  • Organize and maintain personnel records in the HR cloud.
  • Update internal databases.
  • Coordinate with external partners and vendors for HR related items.
  • Compile and prepare reports and documents about personnel activities.
  • Prepare HR documents, like employment forms and guides.
  • Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch and reach with hands and arms, climb or balance.
